Major/Minor: Economics and Political Science

Celine Chih is a second year Economics and Political Science double major pursuing a minor in Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice and a certificate in Technology Management. As a pre-law student, she is passionate about exploring the intersections of business, law, and policy, seeking to understand how economic and legal frameworks shape social and corporate systems, particularly in relation to inequality. Since joining the fraternity, Celine has developed skills to succeed professionally while honing her career interests in consulting and corporate business law.

Her favorite part about Alpha Kappa Psi is the diverse community of intellectually curious people who are driven to make the world a better place. Inspired by the multitude of projects and avenues that AKPSI brothers pursue, Celine helped found UCSB’s chapter of Consult Your Community, a national student-run consulting organization that provides pro-bono consulting services to small businesses. Through such, she aims to make business education and professional development more accessible to students while making a tangible impact within the local community.

Outside of AKPSI, Celine enjoys thrifting, trying new cafes, hiking, going to the gym, and collecting side quests. She also enjoys listening to R&B and creating temporary tattoos.

Celine’s Recommendations: Alice in Borderland, Dynasty, The Great British Baking Show
