Lisa Oshiba

Vice President of Administration

Hometown: Fremont, California

Major(s)/Minor(s): Economics and Accounting/Applied Psychology

Lisa is a third-year student majoring in Economics and Accounting with a minor in Applied Psychology. She is deeply passionate about audit and tax, careers she gravitated toward through her commitment to helping others and creating a meaningful impact. Lisa began her professional journey as a tax preparation volunteer for low-income residents of Santa Barbara, where she developed a strong appreciation for the tangible difference financial expertise can make in people’s lives. Guided by her brothers’ encouragement and her own curiosity, she explored broader career opportunities and discovered audit as an ideal path—one that perfectly aligns with her love for financial accounting, the intricacies of organizational systems, and the challenge of data-driven analysis.

Beyond academics, Lisa is a multifaceted individual who enjoys swimming, playing three instruments, café-hopping, sunset walks, yoga, and spending quality time with friends and family. She joined Alpha Kappa Psi in the Spring Quarter of her second year, where she has since embraced opportunities for professional development, expanded her passion for accounting, and built lasting friendships within a supportive and driven community.
